Attention Zikula Users…

Earlier today Zikula 1.2.3 was pushed to testing.  Not only does this instance of Zikula fix a couple of security issues, it also unblocks some new modules!  So, if you use Zikula please try out the new version and then give it some love!

It’s like I’m in Toronto… without being cold.

Unfortunately I couldn’t be in attendance at FUDCon in Toronto this weekend.  Fortunately I’m able to “help” with the Zikula hackfest from the comfort of my desk at home.  Just rebuilt the SRPM for zikula-module-menutree which will hopefully get us a little closer to a replacement for the docs.fp.o website.

Zikula Advanced Polls

2009-10-20 Leave a comment

Just pushed zikula-module-advanced_polls to bodhi tonight. This module, as you might have guessed, allows the user of the Zikula CMS to also do “advanced” voting. There is also a simple polls package that hopefully will be in CVS tomorrow night. Sorry but I don’t know the difference between simple and advanced. But you can check out the advanced tonight if you like!

You can find the F-11, F-12, and EL-5 package on bodhi. Please login and leave karma. 3 pushes it to stable!

Zikula, the new Fedora CMS solution

2009-01-29 Leave a comment
In yesterday’s Docs Project meeting the decision was made to use Zikula as the new CMS solution for Fedora.  Simon, and others, from the Zikula Project projected a significant amount of energy towards providing this solution to Fedora.  After interacting with a test setup of Zikula and asking lots of questions the Docs team voted to use it as the CMS solution. As I type this, work is being done to package and setup Zikula in the Fedora sandbox.  Once we have fully tested the solution we will introduce the official system to the community and start to work with those that need access to the solution.
